Three new split systems. One Greenwood home ready for summer. ☀️❄️

We’ve been a little quiet on socials lately, but that’s because the Air Central team has been busy behind the scenes as things start to heat up across Perth!

This recent job in Greenwood included the installation of 3 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reverse-cycle split systems — 2 x 2.0kW and 1 x 2.5kW — across different rooms in the home.

Why install your outdoor unit on wall brackets? 👇

This 3.5kW Panasonic reverse-cycle split system was installed in Mount Helena last week, with the outdoor unit mounted securely on wall brackets.

Wall brackets can be a great option when there isn’t a suitable concrete or paved area for the outdoor unit, keeping it raised off the ground and providing a neat, secure installation.

There was also some additional electrical work required for this job, including the installation of an RCD at the switchboard.

And that’s something else we can take care of. ⚡

Our split system installations include an electrician, so if your installation requires additional cabling, switchboard work or an RCD, it can all be handled as part of the job.

Is a 2.5kW split system right for your room? ❄️

A 2.5kW split system can be a great option for smaller spaces such as bedrooms, home offices and studies.

As a general guide, rooms up to approximately 20m² may require around 2.0–3.5kW of air conditioning capacity — but choosing the right size isn’t just about measuring the floor space.

Things like
☀️ sun exposure
🪟 windows
🏠 insulation and,
📏 ceiling height can all make a difference.

That’s why it’s important to choose a system that’s properly suited to your space — not simply the biggest or smallest option.
