Specialising in working on live power poles, Theo found himself in an elevated work platform about 11 metres in the air with live 22,000 volts buzzing around him.
As he tried to replace an insulator but could not get the nut undone, Theo faced a decision that would impact his life as he knew it forever - convenience or safety?
His choice nearly killed him. Theo is now the only known person to survive 22,000 volts through the heart & lived to see another day.

Here's your electrical checklist to keep you safe:
⚡ Inspect your tools & gear - make sure they're damage free and correctly tested/tagged
🔌 Protect electrical sources with Residual Current Devices (RCDs)
⚡ Tag out faulty equipment and isolate circuits correctly
🔌 Turn off the power, lock, and tag out before working in a roof space
