Hard to believe that tiny triangle that looks like a street verge is going to be a 3 bedroom house. It's in for DA - fingers crossed! Project nickname The Verge :P
It feels like forever since I've been shopping for interior products. I can't wait to be at that stage again this year for upcoming projects. I do like oversized kitkat tiles. I wonder if I they will suit a project.
Play around with different textures and shades of white for an aesthetic that wows with its style and uniqueness. ✨ This contemporary bathroom packs a punch with its monochromatic palette that ties together the different materials used.

Thanks for the inspiration, . 📸
Some days it truly feels like this. It's a tight rental market out there at the moment.
Current state of Perf property market:
"M**h shack in Belmont, 10mins from City, river views, open plan living, no door, $600pw be prepared to offer $800 and no pets, so sell your dogs. Please come and view the property between 9:01am and 9:02am on a day you're clearly at work with the other 1500 people who have enquired. If you're lucky enough to be acknowledged please provide 8 references and proof of dog sale xoxo"
I do love a beautiful staircase. Often overlooked but can be simply stunning. The 2 staircases at are 2 examples of classiness
feature brick walls have been laid and looking great. Unfortunately tradie shortages are impacting the schedule but hopefully we can keep the delays to a minimum.
Photos from a from late Friday. External render has started and I think this project might win the award for most cavity sliders in a house 2021 🤣
There’s not much development stock available in Perth but I’d encourage you not to buy the one ply housing project and instead wait for the right two or even three ply development site. Don’t let FOMO lead you into a poor decision.
New year, new hashtag. is going through it’s smurf house phase and entering a very exciting phase where they transform from construction shells to actual homes.
won HIA Apartment of the Year $250-350k on Saturday at the Perth HIA Awards 2020. Thanks go to everyone on the team - designer, builder, trades and suppliers for pulling together a great outcome.
. Time to start work on . It’s a tiny triangle block project in West Perth with lots of challenges. I’ve been playing architect and considering lots of design options for the site. Hopefully we’ll be ready to lodge for DA before the end of the year.
and I checked on today. Framing has commenced and Josh, Matt and Riley are gun chippies so we’ll be seeing lots of action onsite.
Happy slab day to my client project . It’s been awhile to get to this but it’s finally happening. Might have to get a new hashtag with a 2021 on the end.
I can’t wait to see another little reno project finished. It’s a cosmetic gut and refresh of a 90s home with no structural changes. I’ll do some before and afters at the end but so far it’s coming up a treat with a new lighter, brighter look.
The Harlequin
House hunting for a client with my favourite assistant. She loved the chickens at this site. By the time she’s 18 she will be able to pick a development site with her eyes closed.
It’s finally a wrap on the Charles St project in North Perth. They will be hitting the rental market soon. Thanks to all the trades, the builder Jabiru, the architect and everyone who has driven past and recognised it.
Time to start pinning ideas!! There might just be a new project coming 🥳🥳. Love this minimalist range hood in the kitchen.
I've lost count of how much copper has been stolen from my properties. It's a huge issue. Hopefully this will slow it down.
Copper theft is a growing and frustrating issue.
You might have seen cords being cut off appliances, but people are also stealing copper wiring and pipes from homes and construction sites and hot water systems. They're even stealing memorial plaques, sculptures and from Western Power's electricity network - creating serious safety issues.
It's disgraceful, it's dangerous, it's frustrating and it's causing expensive issues for our community.
A big factor for why it's happening is because it's too easy for people to convert their theft into cash without risking being caught.
Unlike gold and silver, there is currently no requirement to record transactional information about the sale of copper, making it an attractive metal for criminals to steal and quickly make a profit from.
We're going to put a stop to it.
Under our proposed amendments, sellers of copper will be required to produce identification and licenced dealers in copper will be required to record all transactions and report details to police.
This will give the police an important tool to track down the vandals and thieves responsible.
It's a decisive and sensible change - and it will put copper thieves on notice.
We will catch you.
Looking naked without scaffolding and the front temp fence. Charles St is almost there!
Hello colour!! The gold diamond painting has started and everyone driving along Charles St is noticing. Landscaping has started - and some stolen already 🤦♀️. The veggie patches should be ready for eating on completion
Practical completion time at . All in all great work but the painter gets a smack on the bum for not painting the tops of doors. @ Ocean Reef, Western Australia, Australia
It’s International Star Wars day and all nerds bring out the Star Wars Dad jokes 🤓
New project time 🥳 Get ready for a client project which will be two 4x3x2 houses in Mt Lawley.
moving a long. Some more scaff has come down so the exterior is making its presence know. A few more weeks and the diamond window and artwork will be a standout feature. Internal work is progressing well. @ North Perth, Western Australia
Gutted that someone stole a heap of landscaping from
Happy Easter!!
It was good to get out and do some socially responsible site visits today. The sea breeze blew out some brain cobwebs. is nearing completion and looking fab. @ Ocean Reef, Western Australia, Australia
Things are still trucking along here. is getting its internal fit out and looking fab. The bathrooms and kitchens have an amazing feature tile from which i love. @ North Perth, Western Australia
It was finally cool enough for to do the final touches in Dulux Monument paint at . Monument is a great accent colour for some statement contrast. @ Perth, Western Australia
Milestone reached for as it’s Practical Completion week. In celebration the Poinciana has started flowering and soon will be covered in red flowers. It’s a madhouse full of trades at the moment to achieve handover next week. @ North Perth, Western Australia
There might be more tree photos than project photos for . The side footpath has been removed and now you can see the project (and tree!) in all its glory. Only a couple more weeks until practical completion. @ North Perth, Western Australia
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD. sold to a lovely young family at the auction.
It’s auction day for the and I’m so friggin’ nervous. Feedback has been great during the sales campaign so hopefully that will translate into a good outcome today https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-manning-132357642
The poinciana is getting bushy and lush now that her summer leaves are growing. is humming along with cabinetry going in to start turning them from empty shells into homes.
