OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀
Almost four years ago, I rang the bell to mark the end of my breast cancer treatment. 🔔💗
A moment I will never forget.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to share something that is very close to my heart.
I was just 44 when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, which had already spread to my lymph nodes.
1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Time is everything. Early detection matters.
Please don’t assume you’re too young. Don’t wait until you’re old enough for routine screening, and don’t ignore something that doesn’t feel right.
💕 Check them regularly and be aware of any changes.
💕 If you notice a lump, change or anything unusual, get it checked straight away.
💕 Don’t be afraid to push for answers if something doesn’t feel right.
If sharing my story encourages even one woman to get something checked, then it’s worth sharing.
