The 'Hamptons' style is in vogue right now. Our Mullaloo clients asked us to build a patio with a "Hamptons" feel. From design to approvals, the build and the final touches, this is the patio we handed over to our very happy clients. 😀
Our clients live in a retirement village. The lady of the house has a few stability issues and the high-step veranda was a concern.
We were the 10th company the couple contacted after being told by others they were too busy or the job was too small.
Mr P called us and asked us to install a balustrade. We met Mr P onsite, explained what we could do and offered a written quote.
Within a month we were able to install the balustrade and had it painted to match the house.
Mr & Mrs P are happy and the balustrade looks super charming. 😀
Our client's alfresco gyprock ceiling was falling down😞Thankfully we came in and removed the gyprock and installed a new PermaTimber PVC ceiling in Arctic White including new trims. Another Castlegate project. We received a call from Ed, our client, months before he settled his new house and provided an estimate quote for the install of a new alfresco deck.
We kept in contact and as soon as he moved into the home, we met with the client to provide a free measure and quote.

From 'oh dear' to 'oh Wow!'
Our clients didn't know what to do about their old timber decking at their coastal home. Spend $$ sanding and oiling or replace it for low maintenance composite? We suggested considering likelihood of re-oiling the boards 3-4 times annually verses a low maintenance replacement.

Today I met with a young couple new to Perth to discuss their fallen fence screen. They'd recently bought the house to create a nice home for their little toddler.
On seeing their backyard, I was shocked! (see 1st photo).
The previous owner who was a "carpenter" installed the deck, a pergola and fence screening for the sale.
Now, I don't believe in being critical of another tradespersons work but ... The deck actually had no framework under some sections of boards, the boards are an economical brand that have not lasted the distance, the stump foundations are not concreted into the ground but sat on the sand, loose, the screen is sat on the deck with no support. The pergola ... well thats another story.
I really felt for this couple who want a quick fix.
Morale of the story, please do it right or don't do it at all. Tidying up your outdoors for the sale is one thing but making a hash of it is creating a problem for another.
The second photo is of a patio and deck we dismantled and re-built new for lovely clients who wanted to create a show stopper for their house sale.

Our client has a lovely home with a spectacular view over the Perth lowlands and City but is subject to strong winds.
The old timber ceiling lining didn't go the distance so we took it all down and replaced it with PVC lining.

Our client was very nervous about hiring a company to install ceiling lining to her alfresco after having difficulty having her gyprock ceiling replaced after it fell down in storms earlier this year.
We arranged to meet our client and explained what we could do, showing examples of similar projects. Our quote was emailed promptly and our client felt comfortable with us.
We installed the new PVC ceiling this week and it looks elegant and warm.
Our client is thrilled with her new ceiling and our work.
