😍 4.5 Weeks Since Hydroseeding 😍

Well well well , we have a new winner for the fastest established Hydroseed so far
At just 4.5 weeks Alex is already mowing regularly trying to keep up with the growth 😍 and trying to find time as neighbours keep stopping him to ask "How the heck did you do that so quick"

❓️ But how does that even happen 😲
✅️ It's all in the Soil and preparation 😉 when you use the right soil and do it correctly amazing things happen , we not only prepare the area properly we use High Grade High Quality Soil resulting in amazing results 🥰 it's that simple 😉

You may be able to find free clean fill on Marketplace, but you won't get anywhere near these results with poor preparation and materials by cutting corners and costs, oh and our Purpose built Hydroseeder + Constant liquids testing is getting us closer and closer to beating roll on Turf 💪

⚠️ I will be Hydroseeding all through the year now with very specific blends and also special guarantees with these winter blends with spray out plans I'm place for Nov/Dec , so if you want to know more please feel free to call or msg woth your next project.

With the increasing costs accross the board for practically everything including new lawns, we all look to save where we can.

This is where hydroseeding comes in, with hydroseeding you can still achieve the exact same results as the most known form of installing a new lawn which is "Roll on" if you are willing to wait for it to fill in you can save thousands , yes thousands of dollars depending on the size of the installation of course.

❓️ But what is Hydroseeding ?
It's in the name, "Hydro" "Seeding"
Simply put it is a method of combining a wet mixture and seed, the method has been around for a very very long time , however the method used and mixtures used have advanced so much that results are almost as quick to mowing as some roll on installations, as little as 4 weeks in some cases.

A typical mixture is a combination of
✅️ Wood Fibre
✅️ Paper Fibre
✅️ Takifier (special glue to adhere to soil and bind together)
✅️ Marker dye
✅️ Fertiliser
✅️ Soil Amendments
✅️ Soil Wetters
✅️ Seed blends

The most important part of any hydroseeding project is Soil Prep , if you ware wanting the amazing fast results this step is essential and cannot be flogged off.

Well, levelling a Compost mix underlay in a thunderstorm results in a huuuua of a mess 🤣 it doesn't show but I think it was more time doing clean up 🥴

Some nice fresh cut Wintergreen Turf from Complete Turf Supplies for Complete Turf Solutions 🙃 going in for this Brand new build 👌 one more to do next week , hopefully with less rain until I've finished 🤞

It will be getting a nice compactor run over it then we will start the light top dressings and product apps to get these lawns pumping and being the envy of the neighborhood in no time ⛳️😀

Spray days coming up 😃

As the scorching summer heats disappear we will be overrun with pests which love the warm humid Autumn weather, as well those pesky winter grasses

Now is the time to get down your protection against these very frustrating pests.

➡️ Pre
This is a combination spray preventing winter w**ds as well as targeting Army worm, Black beetle , Mole crickets and Ants 🐜
➡️ Post
This spray is if you don't have your Pre down and are already seeing w**ds throughout your lawn, it is our own combination of various sprays to combat almost all w**ds we suffer feom in Perth including wintergrass.

⚠️ if you already have pests and w**ds then you need both, First spray the "Pre" and then a week later get the "Post"
Ask about the 2 spray discount if you require both sprays.
Most common questions

Q. When is the beat time ?
A. Now while it's warm and you havnt got any issues, if you already have w**ds then definately NOW before they spread and multiply

Q. Is it Pet safe
A. Yes, to an extent, if your pets rushes out and eats all the grass before you water it in or wait the period for Post to dry then it will not be as safe as it is a chemical and precautions must be taken.

Q. Do I have to do anything
A. Post Spray - Don't mow within 5 days of me spraying and 5 days after me spraying
A. Pre spray - water in after I leave or when you get home feom work.

Q. Do I need to be home
A. Only if I need anything unlocked to access your lawn.

➡️ This is one our lawns that gets vertimowed really hard in September and just shines all through until Autumn where it gets a nice thin out with a 6 way verticut / Groom
➡️ Due yo being so flat already sand top dressing would be of no use here so we use a Compost to really boost the soils, which is done after Core Aeration so that the compost can make its way into the core holes and into the soil profile not only improving water retention but also feeding and transforming the sandy soils below 💚

⚠️ Removing the build up spongey thatch before the cooler wet weather helps to prevent any Fungal issues , Aeration ensures the water is able to pe*****te your soils and not pool on the surface

It might be cheap but it will cause so much hassles for you once the sprinklers of starter fertiliser has depleted and you're left with sand 👎

It is a great time to prepare your lawns for Winter with Pre-emptive pest and w**d control , relieving summer compaction for water Pe*******on or reducing thatch build up to reduce the risk of Fungal issues.

Licensed spraying coming up

Well it's that time again 🐛🐜🪳🦗
So much army worm around at the moment 😬 I've even had them through my lawns now 😑

Those who have experienced them know just how quick they can cause damage to lawns and gardens.

You will start to notice alot of moths appearing as you walk through, mow or water the lawns and garden, This is a sign of Army worm , another will be an increased amount of wasps hovering above your lawn injecting thier eggs into the worm and of course just stripey worms all over the lawn.

⚠️ 2 Methods for spraying ⚠️
( Prevention is the 🔑 )

1️⃣ Knock down
This is simply a spray that will take care of what ever is there at the time of spraying and a week or two following spray, it does not take care of the following eggs that hatch.

2️⃣ Knock down + Preventative
This is a combination spray which takes care of current visible pests and then also takes care of any eggs that hatch for 4-6 months after spraying breaking the cycle 🔄

✅️ Combine it with Barricade to take care of Autumn w**ds for up to 4-6 months including Wintergrass 🌱 ask about Ant 🐜 and Mole Cricket 🦗 spray as well.

Unfortunately I forgot my rods so no fishing 🎣 as it was only 100m from the Swan 😍 what a lucky home owner.

Counting down until the Hydroseeder is packed away until September and the soil preps begin 👌 so if you have a project coming up get in contact for

This couch stuff aint half bad, it absolutely loves the heat 🔥 😍 ⛳️

The back was a rip and out replace , it's had 3 top dresses already and it's only 3 weeks old today 🥳 Cylinder mow last night and from now on 😍
If the lawn is installed correctly and is prepared correctly with quality underlay then results like this are a piece of cake 🤌

The front lawn is still a work in progress, so far it's had Compost top dressing and Humiwet applications and is screaming along

The biggest issue it had was the irrigation was terrible , the coverage was rubbish and all the sprinklers needing replacing and poor sand 💦

Simple things can yield amazing results 👌
I will be getting the verticutter out in a week or two and giving them an autumn reno to get them absolutely popping going into winter ☃️

⚠️ Simple answer no it is perfect weather for hydroseeding 👌, Get the soil correct as per our advice, install your irrigation correctly and have the proper coverage and follow the watering schedule I provide you with as well as the Fertilising programme , and you will be loving your new lawn in no time.

The best offsider for morning weeding 🐦 I relate to the grumpy man face of these little characters 😂 I will get some Humiwet plus down this afternoon and then get another application of PGR and Foliar this weekend ⛳️ I hope everyone's lawns are doing well through all this heat 🥵 , we are almost in Autumn for some of my favourite lawn and garden growing conditions 😍 ⛔️ Coring days and spray days will recommence soon as the weather cools down a bit so keep am 👁 out for those
