Vertimow waste , gets a 2nd chance as compost 🌱 🌹🦠🪱🌻🌺

Here's one for the ones who make thier own compost, with compost prices being so high, why not make your own 🙃

Now all I need is 20m3 of manure 😂

Piles been for a week since the Vertimow job and its absolutely cooking away, was almost too hot to handle 😬 (will keep turning every few days so it doesnt turn to ash 😂), might get a probe in and see how hot she's getting, even with a week of 20s

Tbh I haven't ever made compost before, and with access to so much vertimow waste it's probably something I should look at, just need a manure source 🤔

Spring Bug and grubs spraying 🐛🦗🪳

Foam marker is working mint now, this will help out alot when applying foliars like Iron and PGR ensuring I get an even coverage and not too much overlap 🙃

It is about now you'll start to notice an increase in pest damage while the weather is warming up and humidity is still around, I noticed a tonne of moths appearing lately which is a good sign of Army worm.
I haven't got down Acelepryn yet 🤦 I really need to, as this will prevent more little critters breeding. Hatching and causing damage resulting in me chasing my tail, so i suggest if you havnt got your sprays planned out , maybe get it it sorted as I suspect the we weather is going to change quite quickly 😉

💧Soil Wetter is also another product i need to get down as a preventative before issues arise.

All the normal spring weeds are non existent atm thanks to nicely timed broadleaf sprays 👌

The green is starting to annoy me with this up and down cold weather though 🤬 slowly but surely it is sprouting everywhere though, I just want some consistent Hot weather 🌡 🌞💦🌱

And of course i backlapped and then needed to lay some stripes while the sun was shining ⛳️ ✨️

A combination of Scalping , Top Dressing , Iron and a Thunderstorm and its popping 👌 what a start to the mowing season 🥰 needs a spray tomorrow though as im pretty sure its starting to show a sign of grubs in 2 spots 😬 and we can't have that , and something odd going on with the fairway 🫣

Vertimowing season in the Swan Valley 🍇 ⛳️

Started the morning off not thinking there was much in there, but 4 Truck loads (about 35m3) later i realised there was alot more than I thought 🤣 good old Kikuyu 🥴

A little uneven surface (bit of top dressing would sort that 😉) which makes scalping quite aggressive but this will be absolutely popping in a few weeks 😍 sorry to those who are going there for the holidays 🙃

Iron application kind of weather ☀️ 💦💚

"Foliar 200" 🤙 2nd in line to PGR ⛳️
Hot up Yardsmart Maintenance if you're upping your foliar game.

An afternoon at home with the girls, so I took 5 minutes and got out some iron before I have to check they aren't beating each other up again 🫣

Give it 2-3 days and the green just intensifies, im still deciding how to proceed with renovating the front lawn, if at all, maybe just a scalp and compost again 🤔

Pure Kikuyu just hits different 😍 always first awake in the season 💪 has anyone's buffalo woken up yet ?

How good has this come along since Hydroseeding it with pure kikuyu 👏 💚

The front is almost there, not quite but almost there, once the green comes in properly there will be alot more of the front ⛳️

With spring now hopefully here to stay ill be getting the soil prep gear out and the screening should recommence if the rain stays away 😂 so if you're planning on any installs, send through messages or emails with the details 👌

Getting the Peruzzo ready for some Verticutting next week.

A relatively straight forward task 👌

Even though I don't like do the swap, the Peruzzo stays at the top of the list for now as one of favourite machines I use, makes verticutting and collecting a nice job from the comfort of my tractor 🚜

Mix lawn Vertimowing 🌱

Every first vertimow of the season reminds me why I'm stopping vertimowing😂 waste just doesnt stop, but its a good send off for this lawn,

Ill be back in hopefully two weeks to top dress and show off the Loadmates efficiency, so fingers and toes crossed that a new Top dresser can arrive in time 🤞👀

How good does theatre look after top dressing on Saturday, absolutely needs a mow, that rain this week also gave it nice boost 😀

Its so rewarding seeing such rapid results from your very own top dress product that you screen yourself and spread ❤️ 🥳 having some incredible equipment and top of the line Top dressing equipment helps too i guess 🙃
