Practicality and aesthetics - meet the Vine Street home

The owners of this stunning Vine Street home came to us with one non-negotiable for this project: they wanted space to cook and host outside.

Our clients on this project are restaurant owners who love to cook and entertain. Their outdoor space, however, wasn't keeping up. Before we began, an awkward layout was splitting the garden into zones:

⚪ A glass-fenced pool

⚪Sparse patches of lawn

⚪Segments of paving

⚪A large olive tree dropping leaves across the pool

⚪A forgotten utility area

The space had potential; it just needed to be revealed.

When the Revell Landscaping team were finished with Vine Street, it ticked all our clients' boxes.

We crafted a mid-century modern design with a contemporary edge that looked part of the home's original architecture. For feasting outside with friends and family, we engineered a double-sided open fireplace with a custom flue system to draw smoke away. Steel beams and fibre-cement boards make up the curved feature wall, which also disguises unsightly neighbouring buildings.

We resolved each awkward section and transformed the entire landscape into a functional space made for hosting.
