A mark of the beginning, laying the foundations for his first family home in Perth. What he didn't know at the time was the magnificent journey he would take his family on and the great legacy that he would leave all of us.

VALE TINDARO RICCIARDELLO // It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Tindaro Ricciardello, Ted. Our founder, our mentor, our friend.

Hard work was in Ted’s blood. Leaving school at 11 to help support a family of 9, Ted arrived in Perth in 1962 with minimal money or education. Beginning his career as a plasterer, Ted started the Ricciardello Building Company with his beloved wife Rose, and became a registered builder in 1965 before starting Weststyle in 1985 with his eldest son Tony. Siblings Paul and Rosanna joined Weststyle and the family business grew and thrived.

Working side-by-side as father and son, Tony learned what it took to be a well-respected builder and successful businessperson. He led by example, being true to his word, respectful and when necessary, tough. With an astute and sharp business sensibility, Ted created his opportunities and built wealth from the ground up, proving that anything is possible.

We thank you Ted for the legacy that you have left us and we promise to look after Weststyle long into the future.
