Worn or damaged keys don't fail out of nowhere — they wear down slowly until one day they just won't work. If yours needs a wiggle, a jiggle or a bit of force, that's your warning sign, not something to ignore.

Here's what's usually going on:
✔ A chipped or bent tip stops lining up with the lock properly
✔ Everyday use wears the key or barrel over time
✔ An old key won't lift the pins in a new cylinder

Never force a key that's sticking — that's the #1 cause of keys snapping off inside the lock. Bring it into our Canning Vale workshop instead and we'll sort it properly.

Our key cutting prices:
🔑 Standard keys — $7.70 ea
🔑 Keys cut to suit standard lock — $55 ea
🔑 Cut standard key to code — $22 ea
🔑 Restricted Lighthouse keys — $22 ea

All keys stolen from a 2022 & 2023 Toyota Hilux, check out how we got them back on the road!

🚛 Called in a specialised tow company to safely recover the vehicles from Perth underground parking and bring it to our Canning Vale workshop
🔧 Rip the dash boards out to access the immobiliser boxes
🔄 Removed and replaced the immobilisers to reset them and wipe the stolen programmed keys
⚙️ Synchronised the new immobilisers with the ECUs so the vehicles would recognise them
🔑 Cut new keys to code & reprogrammed the keys to the vehicles
🚗 Test drove both Hiluxes to confirm everything’s functions properly

A pinched finger in a door hinge is one of the most common — and most preventable — injuries in homes, childcare centres, and aged care facilities. Our Door Finger Guards run the full length of any hinged door, closing off the gap completely. No screws, no drilling, no fuss.
