P J Wright & Associates Pty Ltd. commenced practice as ‘Hydraulic Services’ Engineers and Public Health Consultants in 1976. Over this period, the Company has been involved in the design, documentation, administration and consultation on all aspects of Hydraulic & Public Health Design Services, for projects throughout Australia & Overseas.
The projects have varied from Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Institutional Developments to Aged Care Facilities and Hospitals. The expertise gained over many years provides a comprehensive consultancy service that encompasses all facets of Hydraulic and Plumbing design systems. Because this Company prides itself on the service it delivers, P.J. Wright and Associates Pty. Ltd. have been able to build up an extensive private sector client base.

P.J. Wright and Associates Pty. Ltd. have worked in association with many large Architectural practices on a variety of projects. Some of these projects have won awards for innovative and efficient designs. The Midvale Velodrome, IFAP Rous Head Emergency Training Centre are two projects that were accredited with such awards.

In addition to the private sector projects, this company has completed many large State and Local Government projects.
Many projects have required preliminary input such as feasibility reports, budget costing and preliminary planning designs, suitable for submission for local government approvals and financial planning.

A recently completed project was the St Louis Aged Care Facility in Dean Street Claremont for Continuing Health Care. PJ Wright & Associates was involved from the initial planning stage through the design and construction stages. The 72 bed high care facility is the latest addition to the Continuing Health Care portfolio, which includes the Melvista, Mandurah and Lathlain Care facilities as well as the St Louis Estate.

Since 2007 PJ Wright & Associates have provided an Expert Witness Service for clients, lawyers and solicitors who require professional unbiased reporting on all facets of Hydraulic and Fire Services. Our extensive design experience allows this company to undertake the investigations into existing Hydraulic Services Installations and provide professional opinions based upon findings and evidence.

Barry has extensive experience in the Building Services Industry, having worked in the Hydraulic Services Consulting industry for over thirty four years.

Barry has interstate and overseas design experience, having been responsible for the design of a number of significant educational institutions projects generally in Queensland and Western Australia.

Over the past thirty four years, Barry has been gainfully employed by some of Australia’s leading Consulting Engineering and Hydraulic Services Consulting Practices, which included a number of landmark projects. Barry is responsible for overseeing quality of work as well as design, documentation and contract administration on individual projects.

Again, we welcome Barry to the team.
