PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | COMMERCIAL FLOOD DAMAGE RESTORATION 🛠️

Following significant flooding, this commercial tenancy suffered extensive internal damage to the nail bar ceiling and staff kitchen, forcing the business to temporarily close.

MCL Commercial Services was engaged to manage the complete rectification, and restoration works from start to finish, with a strong focus on safety, quality and minimising downtime for the tenant.

Our scope of works included:
• Removal of water-damaged ceiling linings, cornices and ceiling roses
• Safe isolation and disconnection of electrical and ventilation fixtures
• Installation of new plasterboard ceiling linings
• Professional flushing, sanding and preparation
• Supply and installation of custom ceiling roses and decorative cornices to match the existing fit-out
• Full repainting of affected ceilings and water-damaged walls
• Supply and installation of new light fittings
• Testing of electrical components
• Complete internal builders clean prior to handover

From the initial damage assessment and site safety measures through to coordinating trades, reinstatement, painting and final cleaning, the entire project was carefully managed by the MCL team.

The result? A fully restored, safe and professionally finished commercial tenancy ready for the business to reopen and welcome back its customers.
