This hefty piece of limestone weighs between 300-500kg and has been positioned directly below the rated roof access at an iconic new build in Fremantle. No vehicle access meant a balance of physics and muscle was our only option to shift it.
Two hours, a big hole, 1.5l litres of sweat and some solid levers got the job done without breaking any windows. 💪

A quick tidy up and make-safe for the time being while a structural engineering assessment is carried out do determine the full extent of the damage.

This was a little on the nose. This tenancy facing onto the Smart St Mall has had some odour issues in the past. With its latest transformation we've had the opportunity to full expose the site and get to the bottom of the pesky pungency.
On uplifting the old vinyl we identified the likely cause as a failed moisture vapour barrier under the slab. For now we've removed the old vinyl, adhesives and screed, allowing the slab to breath a little. Prior to new flooring being installed a topical MVB will be installed.

A busy day on the road for Andy and Cameron. Starting their day at our Bibra Lake warehouse to load up on tools and equipment before heading to Market St Fremantle for a selective strip-out in one of the cities iconic heritage buildings. Knocking this one out of the park before lunch they then moved on to Armadale Central Shopping Centre to establish site for tomorrows project and help out centre management with some bits and pieces around the centre. I made a flying visit to Richardson St in West Perth to get eyes on a major bathroom renovation we have been invited to tender on. 🤞
