The coastal path connecting Ocean Reef Marina to Burns Beach is getting an upgrade, and our Civil team is on the ground delivering it.

Stage 1 of the City of Joondalup’s Coastal Shared Path Upgrade is progressing well, with the full civil scope including profiling, path widening, kerb construction and red asphalt installation being delivered along this stunning coastal corridor. Vegetation clearing controls have been strictly observed throughout, with works carefully sequenced to protect the surrounding scrubland and dune vegetation.

Sustainability has also played a role on site, with around 1,000 treated pine bollards and 1,500m of fencing removed during the profiling phase donated to a local Men’s Shed instead of heading to landfill.

A better path for the community, and a little less waste along the way.

More to come as Stage 2 progresses.

Road profiling isn't just for roads. Our WA Road Services team recently used our Wirtgen W210Fi Profiler with Leica 3D machine control to mill a limestone quarry floor to a finished grade — hitting tolerances of ±1–2mm ahead of dimension stone extraction.

Precision work in an unusual setting, and the team delivered exactly that.

Quality kerbing is what ties a new road together, and Dowsing kerbing crews work across metro and regional WA to support new construction and road maintenance projects.

On the Bussell Highway Duplication project, our team delivered extruded kerbing and concrete infill works as part of the State Government's upgrade of the key Capel to Busselton corridor.

Over 10km of kerbing. Nearly 6,000m² of red concrete infill. 24 mobilisations across more than a year of staged construction. That's what it took to support one of the South West's most significant road upgrades.

Road rehabilitation works complete on Brand Highway in WA's Mid-West. Our team profiled, processed, and re-laid material all within live lane closures.

Working under the Main Roads WA Plant Hire Panel Mid-West Gascoyne contract, the crew achieved up to 3-4km per shift, with MRWA-approved material conditioned through an onsite pugmill before being laid by our side paver.

It's the kind of work that looks straightforward on paper. On the ground, it takes experienced operators and a crew that knows how to keep a complex operation running efficiently.

Another active transport upgrade delivered for Perth's northern suburbs.

A new 1.5-kilometre section of 3.5-metre-wide red asphalt shared path now runs along Hartman Drive in Wangara, giving locals a safe, connected route for walking and cycling through one of Perth's busiest northern arterials.

From limestone subbase to red asphalt surface, pram ramps, concrete footpaths, brick paving and tactile indicators — the team delivered the full scope, all while keeping a live dual carriageway running throughout construction via staged lane closures and night works. No small feat.

Great ex*****on from the Dowsing Civil team for the City of Wanneroo.

There's something special about breaking ground on a new contract with the man who started it all. Dowsing Group's Geraldton footpath contract is underway, and to mark the occasion, founder Carl Dowsing made the trip out to site to get the first concrete down alongside the crew.

40 years on from where it all began, the work ethic hasn't changed. Neither has the standard.

We are looking forward to working with the City of Greater Geraldton to deliver footpath infrastructure that makes a real difference for the local community.

Some projects go beyond the brief.

We recently completed concrete path works at Perth Wildlife Hospital, a not-for-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and conservation of WA's native wildlife.

The new path creates inclusive access through the animal enclosures, making it easier for staff and volunteers to move through the facility, and opening the door for the team to offer tours to a wider range of community groups and visitors.

It's a different kind of concrete project for us (no footpaths or subdivisions) but the same standard of work, and a cause we're genuinely proud to support.

Thank you to the team at Perth Wildlife Hospital for having us. Keep an eye on their page if you're looking for ways to get involved. They do remarkable work.

From local government footpath networks to private golf courses, our hardscapes team brings the same quality to every project across WA.

At Melville Glades Golf Course, we completed course enhancement works, constructing grey and red concrete footpaths that provide premium, durable pathways across the course.

Working around an active golf course required precise site management and finishes that blend seamlessly with the surroundings — exactly what our team delivered.

As leaders in concrete and civil works, we are proud to support both public and private infrastructure projects across WA.
