Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dads out there!

We are very lucky to call this guy our Daddy/Dad — the BEST Dad our kids could have ever asked for. 🤍

The one who works hard for our family, always shows up for the kids, juggles a business and somehow manages to keep everything together.

We’re so grateful for you and everything you do for our family. We love you more than you know 🫶

From our family to yours, we hope you all have a well-deserved day off, surrounded by the people who matter most.

Good communication is just as important as good painting. 🎨

One thing we hear from clients time and time again is how much they appreciate being kept in the loop.

When you're inviting trades into your home, you shouldn't be left wondering what's happening next.

At Shore Painting & Decorating, we aim to make the whole process as smooth and stress-free as possible by:

✔️ Confirming appointments and arrival times
✔️ Explaining exactly what to expect before we start
✔️ Keeping you updated throughout the job
✔️ Letting you know if anything changes
✔️ Being available to answer questions along the way

A quality finish is important, but so is making sure you feel informed and looked after from the first enquiry to the final walkthrough.

That's the standard we strive for on every project, because great customer service never goes out of style.

Have you ever had a tradie who kept you informed every step of the way? We'd love to hear what made the experience stand out.

💡Great Paint Starts Before the Paint Goes On

One of the biggest misconceptions is that a quality paint job comes down to the brand of paint. In reality, the finish is only as good as the preparation underneath it.

Before a brush or roller comes out, a professional painter will often spend hours:

✔️ Filling dents, cracks and imperfections
✔️ Stain blocking stubborn marks
✔️ Sanding surfaces for a smooth finish
✔️ Cleaning walls to remove dust & grease
✔️ Caulking gaps for crisp, seamless lines
✔️ Protecting floors, furniture and fixtures

Preparation isn't the glamorous part of painting, but it's what makes the biggest difference to how your home looks and how long the paint lasts.

So if you're comparing quotes, don't just ask "What paint do you use?" Ask "What's included in your preparation?" The answer can tell you a lot about the quality of the finished result.

Hopefully that's a helpful tip if you're thinking about painting your home!

Not every project we complete makes it onto social media... and that's okay 😊

Some of our favourite transformations are in homes where our clients simply value their privacy or the photos dont provide the project with its true justice.

Behind the scenes though... we're busy helping families refresh their homes, carefully preparing every surface, paying attention to the little details, and delivering the high-quality finish we're known for!

So if you've been wondering whether we're still busy, the answer is absolutely! We're just spending more time with a brush in our hands than a phone 📞

Thank you to all of our amazing clients for trusting Shore Painting & Decorating with your homes. We appreciate every project, whether it's shared online or not.

If you're thinking about giving your home a fresh new look, we'd love to hear from you!

We have limited availability in Sept + Oct ✌️
