End of an era… and what a run it’s been.

The last 3–4 months leading into the May 1 battery rebate changes have been flat out for us at Perth Solar & Air. Huge demand, long days, and a serious push to get as many systems installed as possible for our clients.

First off — thank you.
To all our clients for trusting us, referring us, and sticking with us through the chaos… we appreciate it more than you know.

And to our team — absolutely massive effort. It’s been non-stop and you’ve delivered.

This week we’re taking a short breather
No installs — just catching up, resetting, and getting ready for the next phase.

What’s next?

The next rebate change isn’t until 1 January
Battery tech is evolving fast — we’re expecting some interesting developments (including things like salt-based batteries)
The market is shifting — and so are system sizes

Our updated battery range:

Alpha ESS → 10kWh & 14kWh (great for most homes moving forward)
FoxESS → 28kWh systems
Larger 40kWh+ systems will likely become less common under the new rebate structure

We’re excited to now be offering the Alpha range — solid systems and a great fit for where the market is heading.

A lot of installers are rushing jobs through, adding batteries without doing the proper preparation or even connecting them for power-outage protection. Some systems are being thrown on without a proper switchboard upgrade or without checking if the battery even makes sense for the customer.

That’s not how we work.
