A night off from the studio..... while Kasey looked after the studio tonight, Kelly headed off to get creative!

Kelly, and friend Sue, headed to the amazing Joondalup Contemporary Art Gallery to participate in a workshop with phenomenal artist Emma Buswell.

Trying their hand at creating their own miniature “chicken bag” inspired by Emma Buswell’s award-winning artwork The Sometimes Luxury Handbag and other Suburban Fables, featured in the City of Joondalup art collection.

Emma was extremely generous sharing her bead weaving knowledge and was fabulously patient throughout! The gallery is a stunning location and the TRIBUTE exhibition is well worth a visit!

(No they didnt finish their mini bag but it is a work in progress!!)
