Why do you need a spray at the end of your lease?

Because if you have pets, you’re probably fighting the battle of the fleas. They multiply at a really rapid rate. One female lays around 50 eggs in one day. That’s why they’re so hard to get rid of.

Did you know a flea can jump 130 times its height? A flea must pass four life stages: egg, larva, pupa and biting adult. They feed on blood and a female flea can lay up to 2,000 eggs in her lifetime. Typically, a flea can live for around 100 days.

Rats
These are the two common rats found in WA. The Norway (Or Brown) Rat or the Black (or Roof) Rat. In our homes we are most likely to come across the Black Rat. They are very agile and excellent climbers, so they are frequently found in roofs and wall cavities. Whereas the Brown Rat lacks climbing ability and is usually found in nests, under decking, in your compost heap or in and around the garden shed.
Signs that you may be sharing your home with rats
• Noise – unusual sounds in the ceiling, such as scratching through to quite audible “thumps” or scurrying.
• Damage – to electrical cables or wood from rats gnawing
• Droppings
• Nests – A black rat uses its treasure trove of items such as fabric to develop a nest. Brown rats burrow underground.
