This balcony received the Polise Homes touch last year.
The client came to us concerned about the condition of their balcony. While inspecting, the balcony dropped 20mm😱
After a change of pants, we took immediate action. 🔨
This balcony was constructed poorly and the harsh coastal elements had taken its toll. The following work was done to bring this balcony back up to code and to ensure the safety of it’s users.
• Stainless steel boots to all joists.
• Stainless steel screws & plugs at 450c to the waling plate.
• Custom milled, continuous 6m Karri post.
• New custom balustrade.

We've added a beautiful, timber frame, 2-bedroom extension to this home, creating more space for this family. This was a timber frame build, built on stumps & timber subfloor to allow a affordable solution for this sloped backyard! Wrapped in linea weatherboards, roof & windows.

We are seeking a highly motivated, all round carpenter to join our young and dynamic team. This position would ideally suit a Carpenter just out of their apprenticeship and are looking to take their career to the next level. The successful applicant will work alongside our team to deliver exceptional results in all aspects of carpentry in renovations, new homes and maintenance work. We are a new and growing business, therefore the right candidate will have opportunities to move into more senior roles within the team. If you are passionate about your trade and looking to grow your career with a supportive and enthusiastic team, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
* Own tools & transport. (Potential company vehicle & fuel card for the right candidate)
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
* Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE where required.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Have the ability to work efficiently independently and in team environments.
* Lead by example and provide support and mentorship to apprentices.
Skills & Qualifications
* Cert III in Carpentry
* Driver's License
* White Card
* Ability to cover all aspects of Carpentry (Fix out, Framing, Cladding etc.)
* Diploma in Building & Construction (Highly regarded).

Passed the reins over to the young fella yesterday!😱
Gave Lachie, our first year apprentice, a go at being the boss. I was demoted to ground pig 🐷. Lachie had to measure, mark, glue and nail these gable end weatherboards while ensuring I was busy and not standing around.
This gives Lachie an insight of the different roles within the team and to understand that whether you’re the ground pig or on the ladder calling the shots, each role is a crucial part of the team and both rely on each other.

Great Wall of Varsity Whitfords😅
We had a wicked opportunity to help out Varsity Whitfords with their Stage 1 renovations at the start of the year.
Our works here included:
• Construct & Sheet a 8m x 3m Wall to divide the room for their monster screen.
• Infill existing windows and half height sheet wall for 2 x TV’s.
• Replace 2 x toilet doors for the Sports Bar.

Lovely little bathroom renovation at doubleview project. 🏡
We were stoked to be apart of this little beauty. We performed the following work on this renovation:
• Demolition of old bathtub, framing & subfloor.
• New subfloor & wet area flooring.
• New drop ceiling.
• Straighten/batten out existing walls.
• Install wall & ceiling linings.
• Replaced bathroom door & hardware.
• New Architrave to door frame & window frame.
• Replace perspex window.
• Install new blockout blinds.

Stair replacement for at their Doubleview project.
These old weathered & rotten stairs had seen their final days. They became a safety hazard and did not meet the current Australian Standards.
The new stairs are built out of outdoor treated timber and both the stairs & balustrading meet the current Australian Standards, this ensures a long lasting product and peace of mind knowing these stairs are safe for everyone to use.
