In just over two weeks, I'm taking part in CEO Dare to Cure to raise vital funds for the Children's Cancer Institute. Every week in Australia, 20 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer, and three will die from their illness. That's why I'm taking on the Extreme Team Fitness dare to help put an end to childhood cancer and save lives. I'm on a mission and I'd love your support. Family life is rarely lived in just one place.

Introducing the Alexandria Collection, a double-storey home designed so everyone has room to come together and room to retreat.

Downstairs, the kitchen, dining and living area is one large open space, flowing out to the alfresco. It's made for everyday life and for having people over. A separate sitting room gives you a formal lounge, media room or quiet space. It's yours to decide.

Every home builder has a story. This is Peter's.

Before Homes by ZAC, there was a carpenter who loved the craft. Peter spent his early years working alongside some great architects and learning what separates a good home from a well-designed one.

Then came a family of his own, and with it the push to build something bigger.

That was 1993. More than 30 years and thousands of homes later, ZAC is still a family business and still built on the same love of the craft.

Peter will be the first to tell you it hasn't always been smooth. There were mistakes along the way. But each one shaped how we build today: the standards we hold, the questions we ask, and the care we put into every home.
