🐝 BLUE MOUNTAINS — OUR BEES NEED US! 🌿
We’re a small local landscaping and property maintenance business here in the Blue Mountains, and we’ve been noticing something that really concerns us…
Our bees are disappearing. 🐝💔
The trees and gardens that would normally be buzzing with bees are becoming quieter. And while there are many reasons bee numbers can decline, one thing we can do as a community is create more habitat and food for our local pollinators.
🌿 We need to plant more native plants.
🌸 More flowers.
🌳 More native trees and shrubs.
🐝 More safe places for our native bees and other pollinators to feed and live.
It doesn’t have to be a huge garden. Every plant helps. A few native flowering plants in your yard, balcony or garden can make a difference — and when hundreds of households do it, the impact can be enormous.
This is our home. The Blue Mountains has incredible native flora and wildlife, and we believe we all have a part to play in protecting it.
So we’re asking our local community to join us. ❤️
If you’re planning a new garden, replacing plants, maintaining your property or simply have a little space to spare, think native and think pollinators.
🐝🌿 Let’s bring the buzz back to the Blue Mountains.
Please share this post and tag a friend, neighbour, gardener or local business who might want to get involved.
And if you’d like some advice on native, pollinator-friendly plants for your property, get in touch with us. We’d love to help.
Our bees need us — and together, we can help. 🐝💚
