Where does all the machinery go? With a lot of lifts, into a separate room you have to find space for.

The Compass is machine-roomless: the drive sits within the lift itself, so there's no plant room eating into your floor plan. One less thing to design around when you're planning a build.

The worry we hear most from people weighing up a lift: what happens if it breaks down?

It's a fair question, and it's where being local actually matters. We hold a large inventory of parts here in Australia, so a repair isn't stuck waiting weeks on a shipment from overseas, and our support team is on call around the clock.

Add a 25-year warranty on the motor and gearbox, and the honest answer is: not much, and not for long.

"What happens if I get stuck?"

It's the first thing people ask us about a home lift, and it's a fair question. Most lifts answer it with a backup battery. But here's the part people don't realise: a battery doesn't help if a safety sensor slips out of adjustment, which is what actually leaves people stuck. The lift stops, and you wait for someone to come and get you.

The Compass works differently. It has an in-cabin, gravity-powered self-rescue system, so as long as there's gravity, you can lower yourself down and step out. No battery required, no waiting.

Watch James show exactly what we mean. Got a safety question of your own? Send us a message, we'd rather answer it properly.

Not building? The Iconic is made for the home you already live in.

It retrofits with no shaft and no major work, and it has a low, level, step-free entry, so a wheelchair, walker or pram can be wheeled straight in. Three sizes, up to 255kg, and room in the largest for a wheelchair and a carer together.

We're an NDIS-registered provider, so we can help you work through funding too. Wondering if it suits your home? Send us a message and we'll help you work it out.

I researched every safety concern, and the lift covered every single one. If only I could get this level of professionalism from other retailers or trades." - Warren O.

Warren did his homework, and we're glad he did. Safety is the thing people worry about most, and it's the one we most want them to dig into, because the closer you look at how our lifts get you down and out in any situation, the more reassuring the answer gets. The bit about professionalism means just as much to us: a home lift is a big investment and a big trust, and we try to earn it from the first phone call to the final handover.

Doing your own research? Good. Ask us the hard questions, and we'll give you straight answers. Send us a message.
