Back at it today , planting yesterday … Tilling today !
It’s now dry enough to get in n get it done , last of the dahlias are out … to be honest I was going to leave these ones in as with our climate there’s no need to dig up every year but with the amount of rain we’ve had I took a closer look & the ant had moved in making them there home 🤦‍♀️ so out they’ve come . Next will be dividing .
This year I’m trying a green manure crop to replenish the soil with nitrogen so tossed some seed in & with more rain on the way should get a go on . Feeling a bit sore I must say 🤦‍♀️

In love with these sunflowers ! After a full days work at the farm 3 lonely sunflowers stood so thought I’d take the opportunity to enjoy these myself 😀 great to see the rain gone so was dry enough to get the seedlings in today . Hopefully this beautiful sunshine they get a go along .

Seasons over ! As winters around the corner our flowers stop growing. Now is a busy time digging up dahlias , cutting down chrysanthemums & replenishing our beds, planting out seedlings to be all blooming again in spring . Thank you all for your support again 🙏

As the seasons change we say goodbye to our beautiful dahlias but welcome our vibrant Chrysanthemum . These beauties will be opening soon just in time for Mother’s Day . Only 3 weeks away !
