We’re doing essential maintenance works on the powerlines in your area this week.

To do this work safely, we’ll need to turn the power off this Tuesday 24 February to around 2,000 customers in Bunyip, Garfield, Iona, Tonumbuk, Modella, Catani, Tynong, Bunyip North, Yannathan, Garfield North, Vervale, Heath Hill, Longwarry, Gembrook and Ripplebrook from 8:00am to 3:00pm

All customers impacted by these planned outages will have received a letter or SMS in advance. If you prefer to go paperless, call 1300 360 795 to register for SMS updates on planned outages.

Here are some tips to prepare for planned power outages:
• Charge your battery packs so they're ready to power your mobile phones.
• Fill an esky with ice to keep your food and drinks cold.
• If you have an electric water pump, stock up on bottled water.
• Check on your neighbours to see if they’re ok – especially if they’re vulnerable or sensitive to warmer weather, like the elderly, or those living with a health condition.
• Life support customers, please be ready to activate your emergency plan. Call our priority line anytime on 1800 818 832.
