Something a little different for this teenager’s bedroom today.

We installed this Airis DC ceiling fan from Beacon Lighting in Officer today. The existing glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling made this one a little more interesting than your average ceiling fan installation!

The Airis is a little different to your traditional sweep-style ceiling fan and gives the room a clean, modern look while providing plenty of airflow and comfort.

A nice little upgrade heading into the warmer weather.

If you’ve got a new ceiling fan sitting in the box waiting to be installed, or you’re thinking about upgrading an existing fan, Adaptive Fire and Electrical can help.

Not all ceiling fan installations are created equal.

These photos show a fan that had been installed using toggle bolts into plaster, and the damage left behind once it was removed.

At Adaptive Fire & Electrical, we take a different approach. We install solid timber support between ceiling joists to provide a secure mounting point designed to properly support the fan for years to come.

Can you always find someone cheaper? Probably.

But we believe your home deserves more than the cheapest option. We treat every home as if it were our own, taking the time to do the job properly, safely, and with a long-term solution in mind.

✅ Quality workmanship
✅ Safe and secure installations
✅ No shortcuts

Because when it comes to your family's home, "good enough" shouldn't be the standard.

⚠️ A recent fault I came across.

This bathroom heater had suffered heat damage due to incorrect installation and operation.

It's a reminder that electrical work isn't just about connecting a few wires and making something turn on. Understanding the product, following the manufacturer's requirements, and taking the time to educate the customer are all part of a quality installation.

Price is important, but the cheapest option isn't always the best value. Quality workmanship and good advice can prevent costly issues later on.

Some jobs take you to some pretty nice places.

Working in Portsea today, so I stopped in at the Portsea Hotel for lunch before getting back into it this afternoon.

Can't say I was in a hurry to leave this view behind! 😎☀️

The tools might be packed away for the day, but the work doesn't stop there. Tonight is all about quoting, planning upcoming jobs, ordering materials and following up with customers.

Running a small business means wearing a lot of different hats, and plenty of the work happens long after the van gets parked for the evening.

Grateful for the continued support from customers, friends, family and other local businesses who keep Adaptive Fire and Electrical moving forward.

Looking forward to what's ahead. If you've enjoyed following the journey, a like, comment or share always helps a small local business reach more people. Thanks for the support.⚡
