WE’RE HIRING | MULTISKILLED OPERATORS – MORANBAH NORTH

We’ve got more work underway and we’re looking for experienced Multiskilled Operators to join the Moorvale Earthmoving crew at Moranbah North Mine.

This is an 8–10 week dam build, with the opportunity for the right candidates to potentially move across to our rehabilitation crew following the project.

THE ROLE
• Moxy (30t), Digger (30t) & Dozer (D6)
• Black Coal Award – Fixed Term Contract
• 7/7 roster
• Day shift only
• Pay rate: Level 3 $51.50 – Level 5 $55.00
• Small, supportive site team
• Project expected to run until early December

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely and effectively operate Moxys, Diggers and Dozers
• Carry out works associated with the dam build
• Conduct pre-start inspections and monitor equipment performance
• Follow supervisor instructions
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and work crews
• Contribute to a high-performing, safety-conscious team culture

ABOUT YOU
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil or mining environments
• Competent operating Moxys, Diggers and Dozers
• High level of safety awareness and commitment to compliance
• Flexible, reliable and a strong team player

REQUIRED
• Relevant RII Competencies
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical (CBM)
• Valid Driver’s Licence

WE’RE HIRING | MOXY OPERATORS – MINERVA MINE

Another rehabilitation project is underway for Moorvale Earthmoving, and we’re looking for two experienced Moxy Operators to join our crew at Minerva Mine.

This is an initial three-month mine rehabilitation project with the potential for extension for the right candidates. With Minerva currently in care and maintenance, you’ll be working as part of a close-knit Moorvale crew of approximately 12 people per team.

THE ROLE
• 7/7 roster
• Day shift only
• Small, supportive site team
• Project expected to run until early December

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate Moxy safely and effectively
• Carry out environmental rehabilitation haulage
• Conduct pre-start inspections and monitor equipment performance
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete allocated rehabilitation targets
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and work crews
• Contribute to a high-performing, safety-conscious team culture

ABOUT YOU
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in civil or mining environments
• Competent Moxy operator
• Competent in an HR Service Truck
• High level of safety awareness and commitment to compliance
• Flexible, reliable and a strong team player

REQUIRED

💗 PROUD TO SUPPORT THE BREASTIES SOIRÉE

Moorvale Earthmoving is proud to once again support the Breasties Soirée, returning for its third year on Saturday, 17 October.

This fantastic local fundraiser has already raised more than $31,000 for the Mater Foundation’s Mater Chicks in Pink over the past two years, with funds helping purchase vital equipment for the Mater Hospital right here in Mackay.

It’s a great example of locals getting behind locals and making a real difference for families in our community undergoing breast cancer treatment.

A huge effort by Michelle and Maggie Bath for continuing to bring this event together, and we’re very happy to play a small part in supporting such a worthwhile cause.

We hope this year’s Breasties Soirée is another huge success!
