Water is life. It keeps homes running, regions growing and communities connected.

For National Water Week, we’re celebrating the role water plays in everyday life — and the infrastructure that helps deliver it safely and reliably.

Across Australia, Georgiou teams are helping deliver essential water projects, including the Alkimos to Wanneroo Desalination Pipeline, support for the Belmont Desalination Plant in the Lower Hunter region, and major pipeline upgrades through the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply Scheme in WA’s Wheatbelt.

We’re also proud to be a member of the Australian Water Association, working alongside others in the sector to support practical solutions for Australia’s water future.

Today, we proudly launched Georgiou's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2026-2029, marking an important milestone in our ongoing reconciliation journey.

The event brought together employees, leadership and Indigenous partners to celebrate the progress weve made and the commitments that will guide our next chapter.

CEO Gary Georgiou officially unveiled our new Stretch RAP, sharing reflections on how far weve come since becoming one of the first construction companies in Australia to adopt a RAP, and reinforcing the important role we all play in driving meaningful change.

A highlight of the event was the opportunity for staff to connect with Indigenous partners who represent the three pillars at the heart of our RAP:

Supporting Better Care for Western Australians

Perth is set to gain 80 new residential aged care places, helping meet the growing demand for quality care in Western Australia. Georgiou is proud to be delivering the new $30M St Bart's Residential Aged Care Facility that will make it happen.

The seven-storey development will create a modern and welcoming environment designed to support resident wellbeing, comfort and quality of life.

The facility will feature high-quality accommodation, communal living and activity spaces, landscaped outdoor areas, dedicated care facilities, administration spaces and supporting back-of-house services, providing contemporary aged care infrastructure for Western Australians.

We recently joined project partners and stakeholders for a sod-turning ceremony to mark the start of construction and celebrate this important milestone.

We look forward to working with our project partners to deliver this important community asset and create a place where residents can feel safe, connected and supported.

🏡 Building More Than Housing: Creating Opportunity and Connection

Georgiou is proud to celebrate the sod-turning milestone for St Bart's new $30 million social housing development in East Perth, marking the commencement of construction on this important community project.

The eight-storey development will provide 56 self-contained apartments, creating safe, secure and affordable long-term accommodation for members of the community who need it most.

Designed to foster connection, independence and positive social outcomes, the project will feature modern residential apartments, communal spaces, shared amenities and landscaped outdoor areas, creating an inclusive and supportive living environment for future residents.

The sod-turning event was attended by project partners and stakeholders, celebrating the start of construction and the positive impact this development will have on the community.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with St Bart's to bring this important project to life.
