Day 2 and the final day of NT Resources Week 2026 is in full swing!

With more than 900 people attending this year, the biggest NT Resources Week yet, there’s been plenty happening across the Darwin Convention Centre. From onshore and offshore energy projects, rare earths, critical minerals and gold, to renewables and data centres, the breadth of opportunities across the Territory is impressive.

On Sunday, the Primero team and their families took part in the 2026 City to Surf. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Joining almost 35,000 runners, the team ran and walked the 4km and 12km courses, all while supporting a fantastic cause.

With great weather and a fantastic atmosphere, it was a great day out for everyone involved.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it such a memorable day!

Primero is pleased to extend our sponsorship of the UWA Motorsport Team for 2026.

Through the Formula SAE program, the team of UWA engineering students takes on the challenge of designing, building and testing an electric race car, putting their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills into practice.

We’re proud to support a program that gives emerging engineers valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to tackle real-world engineering challenges.

Primero is proud to continue our partnership with Perth Homeless Support Group (PHSG), a relationship that has been making a positive impact in our community since 2022.

Supporting the communities in which we live and work is an important part of who we are. Through our ongoing partnership with PHSG, we are committed to helping provide practical support to people experiencing homelessness across Perth.

Over the past four years, our people have contributed through volunteering, fundraising initiatives, donations and Christmas hamper drives, helping PHSG continue its important work supporting those in need.

We look forward to building on this partnership and continuing to make a meaningful difference alongside PHSG.

We’re proud to celebrate Seemab Islam, who has recently achieved Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and registration on the National Engineering Register (NER), a significant milestone recognising his professional expertise and commitment to engineering excellence.

We also congratulate Ron Groenewegen, who has been accredited as a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), recognising his outstanding contribution, experience and leadership within the resources industry.

These achievements reflect the capability, expertise and dedication of our people. Congratulations, Seemab and Ron!

Our team recently came together for our latest Primero Toolbox, a great opportunity to reconnect, share updates and celebrate our people. 👏

The session included a business update from our Managing Director, providing an overview of the business and what’s ahead.

We also recognised team members celebrating their 5-year work anniversaries, acknowledging their dedication, commitment and contribution to Primero. 🎉

As part of the session, we also heard about Tradies National Health Month and the importance of staying on top of regular health check-ups and making our health a priority.

What a result at the Territory Challenge – Northern Territory Championship at Hidden Valley Raceway!

Competing back-to-back in both the 600 Supersport and Production classes, Lauchy Williams delivered an outstanding performance, taking out both class victories with an incredible nine race wins and one second-place finish across the weekend.

Racing two bikes on a demanding schedule meant jumping straight from one class to the next with little time between races, making the achievement even more impressive.

To top it off, Lauchy set a new personal best lap time of 1:10.112. A time that placed him amongst the top group of six superbike riders, despite competing on a 600cc machine against the larger 1000cc superbikes on a circuit that favours the bigger bikes.

Congratulations, Lauchy, on an exceptional weekend. We’re proud to support your journey and look forward to seeing what’s next! 👏🏁
