☀️ GET YOUR HOME SUMMER READY ☀️
Summer is just around the corner and our bookings are already starting to fill up. Don’t leave it until the first 35°C day to get everything sorted!

Now is the perfect time to get your home ready for summer:
❄️ Air conditioning – new installations, replacements, servicing & cleans
💨 Ceiling fans – installations & replacements
💡 Outdoor & garden lighting
⚡ Outdoor power points
🏊 Pool & entertaining area electrical
🔌 General electrical repairs & upgrades
🚨 Smoke alarm upgrades

IMPORTANT SMOKE ALARM CHANGES 🚨
From 1 January 2027, Queensland’s smoke alarm requirements apply to ALL existing homes.
Homes will need compliant photoelectric smoke alarms:
🏠 In every bedroom
🏠 In hallways connecting bedrooms to the rest of the home
🏠 On every storey
🔗 All alarms must be interconnected so when one goes off, they all go off.
If your home hasn’t been upgraded yet, now is a great time to get it sorted rather than leaving it until the end-of-year rush.

Get the air con cold, the fans spinning, the outdoor areas lit up and your smoke alarms compliant before summer hits! ☀️🍻

📢 IMPORTANT PAYMENT UPDATE – FROM 1ST OCTOBER
From 1st October, Nextstep Electrical will no longer be accepting credit or debit card payments.
Going forward, all invoice payments will need to be made via bank transfer, using the account details provided on your invoice.
With the upcoming changes preventing businesses from passing on card processing fees, we've made the decision to remove card payments altogether.
As a small local business, even a small percentage charged on every transaction quickly adds up. We also don't want to increase our prices for our lovely customers just to cover additional banking fees!
We'd much rather keep our prices as fair as possible and have you pay us directly by bank transfer than increase our prices across the board simply to cover these costs.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your understanding and continued support. ❤️
