ASSESSED ALLOWANCES. OVERTIME WITHOUT REMOVING CASUAL LOADING.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS AT EAS.
We're hiring labourers, scaffolders and leading hands for Gold Coast and Brisbane work. Our assessed hourly allowances sit on top of the casual base rate.
LABOURERS | $39/hr casual base
+ $2.50 allowance = $41.50/hr
+ $5 allowance = $44/hr
+ $7.50 allowance = $46.50/hr
+ $10 allowance = $49/hr
SCAFFOLDERS | $45/hr casual base
+ $2.50 allowance = $47.50/hr
+ $5 allowance = $50/hr
+ $7.50 allowance = $52.50/hr
+ $10 allowance = $55/hr
LEADING HANDS | casual base starting at $55/hr
At the $55 base: + $2.50 = $57.50/hr; + $5 = $60/hr.
Labourer and scaffolder brackets are assessed on experience, attitude and reliability. Leading-hand brackets recognise experience, reliability and proven project experience. One bracket applies at a time. If you move from $2.50 to $5, the $5 replaces your earlier allowance. Progression is assessed, not automatic.
All rates above exclude the extra $30/day travel and super. Additional travel allowance when travelling between cities for jobs. Conditions apply.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x and 2x the casual BASE rate, without removing casual loading first. The totals above show base plus allowance, not the overtime calculation.
Paid meal/smoko breaks: 6:30am–2:30pm earns eight hours' pay. Full-time opportunities for suitable candidates after a trial; advertised rates are casual.
Current driver's licence and own vehicle required. Labourers need a construction induction White Card or valid recognised Blue Card. Scaffolders and leading hands need a relevant current scaffolding high-risk work licence and induction card. MR/HR favourable. Leading hands need proven crew leadership and project experience.
