This week at GTT, we set our sights on capturing the early conversations, planning and collaboration behind an exciting pipeline of 100 social homes to be delivered here in regional NSW.

Before a panel is manufactured, before a home arrives onsite, there is a huge amount of thinking, design coordination and problem-solving that happens upfront.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. 👌

For GTT, this is what modern construction is all about: bringing people, process, design and advanced manufacturing together early, so homes can be delivered faster, with greater precision and confidence.

The Federal Government’s new investment of $40m into prefabricated “kit-of-parts” housing is an important signal for the future of construction in Australia.

At GTT, we see every day what becomes possible when more of the build is resolved upfront and manufactured offsite in a controlled environment.
Precision-engineered Wall, Floor and Roof systems can reduce weather delays, ease onsite labour pressure, improve quality control and help projects move to key milestones faster.

This announcement recognises that standardisation, interoperability and offsite manufacturing have a serious role to play in Australia’s housing future.

The next step is turning this momentum into real projects, practical builder training, capable supply chains and procurement pathways that allow Modern Methods of Construction to move from pilot programs into mainstream housing delivery.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁.

That pressure is not going away.

𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 🍸

This afternoon, the GTT team swapped Wall Panels for Parrot Gin as we took a moment to celebrate last Friday night’s Business NSW Awards win.

And what a week it has been. We are STILL ....
Humbled. Stoked. Smiling.

This win belongs to the whole team; from the Factory Floor to Design, Delivery, Leadership and every partner who has backed GTT as we continue to prove what regional manufacturing can do.

Back to our usual factory next week.

For now? We’ll raise a glass to GTT ... and enjoy a few pizzas with the team.
