Ever wondered what those planted ponds in your local reserve are for?

They catch stormwater and filter it before it moves on. After enough years the filter material inside wears out, and that's where we come in.

We've just renewed two of them in Cranbourne for , at Olympus Crescent and Eros Crescent. Old filter media out, new media in, inlets reset and the basins replanted.

Three weeks, a fair bit of rain, and both are working the way they should again.

Our combi truck does the lot. Non-destructive digging, drain cleaning, pit and gross pollutant trap cleaning, and vacuum recovery of silt and debris.

If you've walked through Palm Plaza in Dandenong lately, you've walked on some of our work.

Three weeks for . Old paving and kerb out, new drainage in, then new kerb, coloured concrete paving, tidied up garden beds and new garden bed fencing.

It's one of the busiest spots in central Dandenong, so we worked in stages to keep a clear way through the whole time.

The old Bunyip track had done its years. Worn dirt, not much left in it.

Now it's the Sanctuary BMX track, renewed and expanded for . Rebuilt and extended for everyone from first timers through to the quick ones, with new drainage, asphalt, a shelter and somewhere to sit while you get your breath back.

A new dog park for Endeavour Hills.

The land wasn't being used for much. Now the neighbourhood's got somewhere to take the dog.

We built the space at Essex Park Drive for , with separate areas for the confident dogs and the shy ones, so everyone gets a run without the stress.

Drainage, fencing, footpaths, a shelter, a water fountain, landscaping and planting. Eight weeks, and a fair bit of weather along the way.

The cottage was built in 1874. In 1971 a group of locals took it apart stone by stone and rebuilt it on a new site to accommodate a road widening.

We renewed the footpath and path connection through Schramm's Cottage at Doncaster East for Manningham City Council, along with a carpark and asphalt upgrade and a new pedestrian handrail.

The place stayed open the whole time, so everything was staged around the visitors. It's now one connected, accessible route instead of a few disconnected bits.

Those stones have stood for a hundred and fifty years. Bit of pressure on the path, really.

A dog park. A pump track. A footpath wide enough for a pram and a wheelchair to pass each other.

None of it has our name on it, and that’s the point.

We build it, hand it over, and it stops being ours. The pump track belongs to the kids riding it now. The streetscape belongs to the traders. The road belongs to whoever drives it home.

Most of this will still be here in thirty or forty years. Kids who aren’t born yet will ride that track.

We’ve proudly been building these spaces for 15+ years now.

Two weeks at Till Drive, Warrandyte.

New drainage, earthworks and a rock retaining wall for .

The rock wall was a deliberate choice. Warrandyte is sensitive bushland, so a natural material holds the soil and still looks like it belongs there.

Live road, tight window, residents needing to get in and out the whole time. Sorted.

We were stoked to sponsor the night and hand out prize money across a few categories, from our youngest racers right through to the seniors. Great to see so many locals down at the track.
