This spacious, sun-soaked kitchen is centred around a huge island, plenty of storage and a seriously impressive amount of bench space.

Warm polytec Boston Oak joinery pairs beautifully with Vadara AU Nomad Valley 20mm stone, with its travertine-inspired off-white and grey tones, subtle taupe and grey veining, and natural sense of movement carried across the island and splashbacks.

Sharknose edges keep most of the cabinetry clean and handle-free, with a hidden coffee & glassware cupboard, while Blum Australia Pty Ltd soft-close hardware brings a smooth, quiet feel to every opening and closing.

A beautiful balance of warmth, space and functionality — the kind of kitchen that makes you want to stay a little longer. 🤍

From a full rip-out to the finished result. 👀✨

This Mt Kembla project takes you behind the scenes of a brand new kitchen and combined laundry/butler’s pantry — from demolition and construction to the A&Z team putting on the final touches, with a little messing around along the way. 😂

The finished kitchen features Dulux Australia Vivid White Satin in the ‘Casino’ Shaker profile, paired with YDL Stone 40MM Giusto benchtops, while the butler’s pantry adds warmth with a polytec Boston Oak Woodmatt floating shelf.

Matt Black Nover hardware completes the look, from the Platinum Quartz Black double bowl sink and Pull Out Gooseneck Mixer to the Baron k***s and Provence Cast Iron handles.

A floating outdoor kitchen, built for entertaining. 🔥

This Balgownie alfresco centres around a large BBQ, with generous bench space on either side for cooking, serving and entertaining outdoors.

The joinery uses polytec 13mm Compact Laminate in Cinder Matt — impervious to water, easy to maintain and highly resistant to stains, wear and impact.

The benchtop and splashback are Smartstone 20mm Bellini Bianco, with the benchtop extending beneath the BBQ and connecting back up on either side for a seamless finish. Boasting UV stability and resistance to fire and all weather conditions, it’s made to perform under the Australian sun.

A clean, streamlined design is completed with chrome Classic Drawer Pull handles, creating a practical, low-maintenance space made for outdoor entertaining.

Wednesday night, Adam, Zoran and a few of the A&Z team headed to the polytec Shellharbour showroom for an evening of food, drinks and a closer look at some of Polytec's latest products, now available for future A&Z projects.

The evening also featured a presentation about Polytec's involvement in this year's i98FM Illawarra Convoy including a special talk from Marty Haynes, founder of the event.

This year, A&Z will be joining Polytec on the side of their Convoy truck alongside other local joinery businesses. We'll also be putting an A&Z truck of our own on the road for the Convoy.

There's plenty more to come on that one. 👀🚛

Finishing touches make all the difference. 👌

This Wollongong kitchen brings together clean lines, practical storage and a soft, understated palette designed to feel just as good to use as it does to look at.

Featuring 20mm YDL Stone Giusto benchtops and splashbacks paired with Dulux Australia Moorland Satin coloured joinery in Brooklyn profile, the space keeps things sleek while still offering plenty of functionality. Hidden push-open storage runs across the back of the breakfast bar, keeping everyday essentials tucked away without interrupting the thoroughfare.

Finished with Nover Platinum tapware and sinks, alongside Inox look handles and door k***s, the result is a kitchen that feels considered from every angle.

And of course, Kyle was there to make sure those final details were just right. 👏
