Two banks of Eclipse opening louvres, built into an existing deck by the Bespoke Outdoor team.
⠀
A new timber frame carries the louvres off the deck, and an old wooden beam stands in as one of the posts. The timber has been stained to match, and the whole structure sits comfortably with the landscaping around it.
⠀
Open the louvres when you want the sun. Close them for shade or rain.
⠀
If you want to see it in action, come and see it at the Maison Outdoor showroom at Eastwood. While you're there, speak to the Bespoke Outdoor team about bringing your vision to life.

A new build with the outdoor area finished from the start.

Two banks of Eclipse opening louvres cover this alfresco, and each bank runs independently from the same remote. Open one side for morning sun and keep the other closed over the table.

The blades rotate through 180°, so you can tilt them to let light through or shut them fully when you want cover. A rain sensor closes the roof automatically when the weather turns.

Building new? Plan your Eclipse roof in with the build. Come and see one open and close at the Maison Outdoor showroom in Eastwood, and talk to the Bespoke Outdoor team about your plans.

Work in progress on the Esplanade at Brighton. Two banks of Eclipse opening roof, each on its own controls, so one side can be closed against the sea breeze while the other stays open to the sky.

For the owners, it means the back deck stops being a summer-only space. Long lunches that run into the evening, winter mornings with a coffee and the ocean in front of you, friends over without an eye on the forecast. The kind of spot the whole family drifts out to without thinking about it.

Follow along for the finished result.
