Can you tell the direction we are heading for this project?
When I start playing and saving images that I am loving,
spaces and tones, it is generally what helps me create a
clear direction for a project.
When I look at this I am seeing warm timber, earthy tones, and a little bit of baby p**p:
- Mid-tone timber is doing the heavy lifting. Cherry, oak, teak. Joinery is the hero not just a backdrop. (scary for the budget.)
- Earthy glazed tile, stacked or gridded, floor to ceiling.
- Stone benchtops in dark or travertine tones. Not one white engineered stone top in the set.
- Brass and bronze tapware and k***s.
- Low warm light throughout.
- A little 1970s.
Is this a palette you would like?
I ask because this project will be for sale, and that is
always a push pull. Creating a space I love, that speaks to me and that I am aligned with. And creating a space that is not polarising, that lets the new owner make it their own.
