I thought I would share a little of the fun that the last few days (yes days) has brought.
There is so many amazing projects going at the same time, from workshops to big in person events, builds for us and others, plus kids and family and animals everywhere.
A few years ago I had a more normal lifestyle on a normal ish block and something changed, we redesigned what we wanted… we had done it before (I’m sure we will do it again too) but change is always scary.
We work, live and breathe property and realestate … and yes the market has dipped, but it is up to you what you make of it and how you deal with it.
As one of the biggest over sharers, in full disclosure I have had some moments in the last few years… a bookkeeper stealing $500k … isn’t that crazy … kids moments, business partnerships not turning out the way you plan… it’s been a journey.
But how lucky am I to be on this journey? Sometimes things test you - life doesn’t always go to plan - but I was telling the kids about what it was like for my dad, aka grumpy, when he was growing up - no hot water - they boiled the copper and washed the clothes over a fire. They shared baths, no daily hot showers or popping it in the wash and walking away.
I guess this week the good weather has got me feeling grateful.
