Hi everyone the photo is an update of the beetroot seeds I planted back on 23/3. As you can see one of the plants has hardly grown while the other is way ahead and forming the beet root. I deliberately did not split the seedling from the seeds when sprouted so there are two seedlings together in each clump. The only difference is the wool pellets added at 25 grams in the pot that is looking good.

Just a heads up everyone, I am excited to be having an interview by Curtain FM (100.1) talking about wool pellets. Since the article came out on Landline when Wool Grow Australia were interviewed there has been an increase in people wanting to know more about wool pellets and what they can do for the garden. The interview is 8.20am this Saturday the 16th May.

Here is a follow up photo of my beetroot plants grown from seed on the 23rd March. The soil is straight from the garden section that’s had not been loved for a few years. One has wool pellets at the rate of 50 grams per 4 litres. As the photo shows the wool pellets are growing faster than without wool pellets. I do recommend under normal gardening conditions to use a better base soil such as compost, vege mix or potting mix.

I have just about recovered after a hectic weekend at the Perth Garden Festival. A big thank you to Lakehouse Nurseries for selling our wool pellets and introducing me to Sabrina Hahn, Graeme Cockerane, Colin Barlow and Hannah, all gardening gurus. Colin has asked if I can do a radio interview, so watch this space. Our wool pellets sold out over the weekend, so it's back to work for me. If you haven't seen it, there is an article on Landline on the ABC that discusses the uses of wool pellets. Happy planting everyone.

We just completed our first day at the Perth Garden Festival with Lakehouse Nurseries. So far it is going very well with a possibility we may sell out by Sunday afternoon. Landline had a talk on wool pellets on Sunday and the amount of people that watched and have approached us is fantastic and has helped our sales. If you haven’t been get on down or up to the Perth Garden Festival and look us up.

Beetroot seeds planted on 23/3 one with wool pellets and one without. The soil came from a section of garden that has had no fertiliser added for a couple of years. Had to soak the pots to get the soil soaked due to water just wanting to run off. Even the weeds are growing better with the pellets. It gives you an idea of what the wool pellets can do and the pellets will provide nitrogen and nutrients for approx 6 months. Contact me if you need any information.

Just letting everyone know, we will be at the Perth garden festival 17 - 19th April with Lakehouse Nurseries who sell the beautiful day Lillie’s. Hopefully see you there.
