URGENT!!!CARPENTERS WANTED – EXPERIENCED 2-MAN TEAM
FULL-TIME, ONGOING WORK
UPPER NORTH SHORE / HORNSBY AREA
JMC Build is a growing residential building company based on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. We are looking for an experienced, reliable 2-man carpentry team to join us on a full-time, ongoing basis.
We specialise in quality residential work across Hornsby, Thornleigh, Normanhurst, West Pennant Hills and surrounding suburbs, with a strong focus on outdoor living spaces and practical home improvements. We’re now at the stage where we want to bring the right people on board long-term as the business continues to grow.
This opportunity is best suited to carpenters who are confident in their skills, enjoy working efficiently, and take pride in delivering clean, well-finished work.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Fully qualified, experienced carpenters
• Confident with set-out, measuring, cutting and installation
• Comfortable working independently once a job is set up
• Good understanding of Australian building methods and standards
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Comfortable working on residential sites with homeowners present
You should be comfortable:
• Reading a scope of works and carrying it through to completion
• Planning your day and keeping work moving efficiently
• Communicating clearly around materials, timing and progress
• Taking responsibility for the quality of your work
This is a hands-on carpentry role, not a training or apprentice position.

The majority of our work is well-planned, practical residential carpentry, focused on outdoor living spaces and straightforward home improvement projects.

EQUIPMENT & SUPPORT
• Carpenters are expected to supply their own basic, everyday tool bag and hand tools they are comfortable using
• This includes standard personal tools required for day-to-day carpentry tasks
• Anything outside of basic hand tools will be provided by the company
• The company has all necessary equipment for this type of work, including larger machinery and specialised tools such as drop saws and major site equipment
• Clear instructions and guidance are provided on each project
• Check-ins are completed at the start and end of each day to ensure alignment on scope, progress and next steps
This setup is designed to provide experienced carpenters with the support, equipment and clarity needed, while still allowing autonomy to work efficiently and deliver quality results.

PAY & CONDITIONS
• $60 per hour INCLUDING GST
• ABN required
• Public liability insurance required
• Own basic hand tools and reliable transport required
• Full-time, consistent work for the right team
• Immediate start available
