I’m proud… so bloody proud! Working with your hubby is not an easy job. Working with your wife is not an easy job. Owning your own business does not have the perks everyone thinks it does and over the last 3 years especially, we have had some testing times. So many days we are mentally exhausted. So many late nights and weekends popping into the office to ‘catch up’ only to have something else pop up the next week that makes you feel behind again. Then ontop of this we both have the ‘care factor and eye for detail’ traits when it comes to working in other peoples homes. Max especially has been in the joinery industry for over 25years now and started out on his own 18 years ago and we leased our first factory the year we got married almost 15years ago. Max started with nothing, he started the business from scratch. He worked hard and harder and harder. He has been so humble along the way. I always supported him part time and then we grew the business and grew and I needed to join forces full time. We have now gained industry recognition amongst some of the most well known in the Sydney joinery and kitchen sector and on the weekend our business got acknowledged and awarded for its quality workmanship enforced by Max throughout our team of cabinetmakers. CABINETMAKER/KITCHEN MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR IN NSW by Housing Industry Association - HIA. To say I’m proud is an understatement. The industry has changed so much over the last few years. Getting undercut by others gets you down but together we keep upholding to the belief that those who want quality will seek it, because people are acknowledging that Quality trumps over quick and nasty promises. The number one reason our clients say they selected us is because they felt like they could trust Max and I. Trust! From complete strangers. That’s a big deal to us and we feel honoured that people who don’t know us, get a real feel of our passion and trust that we will look after them and their home.
So sorry, not sorry 😂 for the long post, but I am bursting with pride at the moment because of how proud I am of the Man I am lucky enough to call my husband and business partner and that his hard work and passion for the joinery industry has been acknowledged. The quality of his work/our work and our teams hard work most importantly.
And also how grateful I am to have 4 amazing blessings that understand why Mummy and Daddy have to work through school holidays sometimes and why the late nights are important. Not because we put them second, but because we put them first, and work hard for them and their future.
So to all of you who are running your own businesses, I salute you and celebrate you. To those of you working and running businesses in the building and construction industries at the moment as well, I double salute and celebrate you. To Max, what a team we make! Who would have thought hey! And to Steve, our leading hand, you bring fresh energy into our business that we love and we adore you! To our team of legends, we appreciate all you do and your quality workmanship and lastly to our past, current and future clients, thank you for putting your trust in us and we hope you love your ‘Gallery Living‘ Kitchen/home renovation as much as we loved creating it for you.
