To wrap up our year in review, we’re celebrating the people, partnerships and community that continue to shape Hamilton Group.

This year we celebrated some big team milestones, including 10 years of service for Scott Weber, and 5 years of service for Daniel McIntyre, Lauren Hussell and Paul Haberman.

We also welcomed 13 new team members and celebrated some incredible achievements across the business, including Tyler Lawson being named The Gordon | RTO 3044 Apprentice of the Year and Hamilton Group receiving the Corporate Citizenship Leadership Award at the Geelong Advertiser Future Geelong Awards.

We made time to come together as a team, from our end-of-year celebration to the inaugural Hamo Olympics.

Supporting our local community continues to be a big part of who we are. Throughout the year, we proudly backed local sporting clubs, community organisations and fundraising events, including R i v e r ' s G i f t and our annual Ron Dog Golf Classic, held in memory of our mate Ronnie, a former Hamilton Group labourer, raising funds for the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.

We were also proud to support the City of Greater Geelong’s Women in Street Art program with a new mural on the rear of The Regent Theatre by artist Jaz Miu - Jaz Mishap ✨

Thanks to our team, tenants, clients and community for another great year. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and can’t wait to continue to share updates.

Leasing and property management is part of our expertise. Once a project is finished, our job isn’t done.

A key part of Hamilton Group’s approach is managing our properties and precincts long-term. Our buildings and precincts are home to 235 businesses (shout out to our property managers Jen and Jane).

This year we welcomed new tenants, including RB Sellars at Glass House and STRONG Pilates Geelong at Woolstores @ 400 Pako, and secured TK Maxx as the anchor tenant for Brights.

We also watched existing tenants grow within our precincts. Mast Lawyers expanded from Office 1 into a bigger space within Federal Mills, staying put as their team scaled up. Our model lets tenants grow without having to break their lease.

It’s not just our commercial construction projects that have taken shape this year.

Our Projects team has also delivered workplace, retail and hospitality fitouts across Geelong, for clients including RB Sellars, Barwon Health Foundation, Mast Lawyers, Ports Victoria, Company Spot, MexiCam’s and Paddock Bakery. With a dedicated and growing team, this is an area we’re excited to keep building on.

Sustainability stays front of mind behind every project, big or small. From renewable energy to adaptive reuse, it isn’t a side project for us. It’s built into how we work.

We recently had a new solar system installed at the Woolstores precinct on Pako Street, which will generate approximately 150MW of clean energy each year!

We’re always looking for ways to repurpose. Take the MexiCam’s fitout, where original breeze blocks from The Regent were salvaged and restored to line the bowling alley.

We also achieved ISO certification for the third consecutive year across quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety, a reflection of the consistent standards we hold on every site.

It’s been a big year for Hamilton Group.

Across construction, fitouts, leasing and property management, we’ve delivered new spaces, progressed major projects and welcomed new tenants across Geelong.

Over the next few posts, we’re sharing a snapshot of what’s been happening across the business over the last 12 months, from the sites taking shape to the people behind them.

First up our current construction projects bringing new life to some of Geelong’s most iconic buildings 🏗️

Currently underway: The Regent Theatre on Little Malop Street, Bright & Hitchcock’s in the CBD and Henderson’s in North Geelong. Each comes with its own challenges, but all three are progressing well, with a strong focus on preserving character while creating spaces that are functional and future-ready.

And we’re already looking ahead. Our pipeline includes Pegasus Antiques in Newtown, Fyansford Paper Mills, and the Return Soldiers and Sailors building in Newtown.

A recent site visit to our Henderson’s project to check out stage 1 progress!

The glass façade on the mezzanine level is in thanks to Versatile Windows and the chestnut flooring is almost complete - currently hiding under the tarp, but we can confirm it looks great 👌

We’re looking forward to The Heritage Table at 1915geelong this Friday as part of the Tastes of Greater Geelong Festival.

Presented by Hamo Hospitality, the event brings together its five venues, 1915 Restaurant & Bar, the_retreat_geelong, woolstore.restaurant, Paddock Bakery and mexicams_geelong for a four-course menu inspired by the history of each venue using seasonal produce and local wine.

Cam Hamilton will join host Simon Toohey as a guest speaker, sharing insights into the history and transformation of these venues, all of which were brought to life through construction and fitout projects delivered by Hamilton Group.

Congratulations to the City of Greater Geelong on a great program that celebrates the best of our region’s food, wine and hospitality.
