Spring has sprung in Noosa, and the change in weather can have a bigger effect on your pool than you might realise.
Since the weather started heating up, we’ve seen plenty of water tests showing low chlorine levels.
The reason is simple. Stronger UV breaks chlorine down faster.
That can eventually mean cloudy water, algae growth or a green pool if the settings and chemistry haven’t been adjusted for the season.
A good place to start is checking your chlorinator output or pump running hours and making sure the water has enough stabiliser.
Stabiliser is basically sunscreen for your chlorine. It helps protect it from the harsher UV.

Take a look at our BTS of what happens at the testing bench!💦This pool went cloudy after wind and rain 💨🌧️ after proper testing, it was found that the phosphates were very high (from the leaves) which caused the water to go cloudy! With proper treatment and some chemicals added, the pool cleared within a day! ☀️
