Revisiting an alternative to our lovely farm project after halted construction plans....

Coming up with a more economical solution which will still improve the clients lives but on a smaller scale 👌

CONCEPT DESIGN 〰️ Ashgrove House

This was a highlight project from last year. Our lovely clients came to us after engaging another architect, but they felt their vision and brief hadn't really been achieved.

After one Studio Session (our consultation service) the clients felt that we could achieve a better result for them, and so we were engaged to design a pretty major renovation and extension.

Here was the initial concept proposed which retained most of the house, with a clever demolition and modern extension to the rear, including extensive excavation to provide a new lower level.

We come up with solutions that manage budget AND achieve a real bang for buck... our ideas and the ex*****on of them is really where our value lies.

Can't wait to share the process of this project with you over the coming weeks to show you behind the scenes during demolition and construction.

Ending the week with massive progress in the studio 〰️ materials selected for one project, site visits to see construction underway, meetings to finalise last documentation changes for our Maleny project, and Tender drawings wrapped up for our Ashgrove project.

Cheers for the weekend 🥂... now off for some family fun 🌞✨

I’ve been so busy working on projects over the last few months I haven’t had a moment to post any progress 〰️ the juggle has been real, with zero downtime but I am so grateful to have such awesome clients through this whole Covid situation that have kept their projects moving ahead ✨

Here is a little lounge room snippet of a farm house renovation at Conondale for a lovely family that is hopefully starting on site soon 🤞 it is undergoing a complete transformation.. stay tuned . .

Where do you sit 〰️ are you a or a ?
I sit somewhere on the fence with this.... on one hand I am a modernist and minimalist at heart and enjoy finding zen in the perfect combination of elements and materials, without over doing it, and without clutter. But with interiors I think sometimes there is a place for more... what's your vibe?
