Olive trees in 750litre pots for sale
We are selling a few well established olives.
The olives are 35 years old and have been in Pots now for three years, they were part of our first experimental dig on the farm and have been our test trees to make sure we got our methods right The olives have beautiful buttressed trunks and were planted in a podium mix ideally suited to planting in raised planters that can show off the beautiful trunks .
It’s very rare for olives to produce fruit on the Sunshine Coast as we don’t get cold enough winters but they are very coastal hardy and can be pruned so you don’t lose that beautiful view.
Treesare $3000 each ex farmat Belli Park.
We can also arrange delivery and installation if needed.

My latest compost is about 1.5m high and 3 m wide. There’s ice all around it this morning but the centre is still 62c. The compost will hopefully be perfect to use in the spring for making aerobic compost tea.

So dry at our olive farm and yet the olives are looking great. Kenilworth locals are saying it’s the driest year in over 20years. One dam is completely dry and the other 3 are very low even though they were all in flood last year. It’s been an interesting first 5 years of this project. It feels like the decision to do everything regeneratively has been vindicated with only compost, compost teas and minimal organic sprays having been used since we moved here. The only frustration is it’s too dry to dig and pot up more of these beautiful old olives!

Here at the project in Nias. We have built or first sample compost pile from all waste products: pig manure, coconut husk, weeds and grass. Seeing if we can give a value to the manure which currently mostly washes into streams while also providing a low cost alternative to chemical fertiliser. Improved soil health and water quality are long term goals.
