End of week wrap at the Western Treatment Plant.

→ 2 slab on ground zones poured
→ Pump relocated and 2 piles poured
→ 574sqm boxed and prepped for poly, cradles and mesh
→ Slab cleaned and prepped for caulking works
→ Pits installed and cleaned
→ Tankered waste slab west face boxed and poly placed
→ Junction pit base concrete poured

Groundwater on site presented its challenges but the crew managed it without missing a beat. Massive day on site and unreal effort all round 👏

A busy week at the Western Treatment Plant.

Sludge tank construction well underway, lengthy plinth upstands taking shape, and further ground slabs commencing across the site. A lot of moving parts being managed simultaneously by a crew that continues to deliver.

Congratulations to James Stapleton, this month’s Core Values Award recipient for Intraform!

James, pictured here on the left with Lead Supervisor Kyriakos Panayides, has been recognised for his strong work ethic and crew management across the Western Treatment Plant project.

Managing multiple work fronts, James has shown great drive and initiative while maintaining a consistent focus on delivery and team performance.

As noted by his supervisor, his contribution on site has not gone unnoticed.

Progress continuing at the Western Treatment Plant in Werribee, with south build-up works progressing as part of the Resource Recovery and Re-Use Complex project for Melbourne Water, delivered by John Holland.

Our first concrete pour for the Digester Ancillary Building was completed successfully, with the team giving plenty of attention to achieving a high-quality finish.

After wrapping up the pour, the crew shifted the pump across and kept the momentum going by completing the blinding for the base of the future sludge tank building.

A big effort from Guy Earle and James Stapleton, who knocked out more than 500sqm of preparation works for the upcoming sludge tank slab.

Here our backfill A-Team are pouring through with our trusty John Deer grader, in combination with our 7-tonne Pad Foot and water cart all playing their part in this activity for our client.
