The condenser moved. The cold room kept working.

At a waterfront hospitality venue in Cleveland, QLD, ACRO completed a complex refrigeration relocation while protecting the system the business still relied on.

Challenge:
The active condenser had to be moved to the rooftop while two unused cold rooms were prepared for removal. For a busy hospitality venue, refrigeration downtime can risk stock, service and revenue—especially in Queensland’s heat and demanding coastal conditions.

Our solution:
ACRO pumped down and relocated the active condenser, rerouted the refrigeration pipework, installed a new electrical isolator, reconnected the services and recharged the system. Refrigerant was safely recovered from the unused equipment, and electrical supplies were secured.

Result:
The remaining cold room was confirmed operating at 3.0°C. Redundant equipment was safely decommissioned, and the relocation was completed without interrupting venue operations.

A refrigeration condenser was relocated and two cold rooms were decommissioned at a waterfront hospitality venue in Cleveland, QLD. The active system was reconnected, recharged, tested and verified at 3.0°C.

Challenge:
Coastal salt air, humidity and Queensland heat can push commercial refrigeration harder. A failure during busy trading can mean spoiled stock, lost sales, stressed staff, unhappy customers and costly downtime.

Our solution:
ACRO relocated the Fruit & Veg Room condenser to the rooftop, rerouted and reconnected the refrigeration pipework, installed an electrical isolator, recharged the system and tested its operation. Refrigerant was safely recovered from two decommissioned cold rooms, equipment was removed, and electrical services were secured in labelled junction boxes.

Result:
The operating cold room returned to 3.0°C, while unused equipment was safely decommissioned and the area was left ready for the next stage. Specialist work that helps protect stock, service and business continuity in a demanding coastal environment.
