Corrosion does not fix itself.
During a 3-monthly preventative maintenance service at a Burpengary hospitality venue, our technician documented corrosion, debris build-up, and equipment labels across the refrigeration assets.
This is an important part of proper PM.
Corrosion can lead to structural deterioration, refrigerant leaks, electrical issues, and eventual equipment failure. If it is not photographed and recorded, gradual deterioration can go unnoticed until the unit breaks down or becomes unsafe.
Our technician photographed the affected areas, recorded manufacturer labels, noted items requiring future attention, and added the information to the service report.
