☀️🔋 SOLAR & BATTERY REBATES ARE CHANGING — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Thinking about installing solar panels or battery storage? There are some important government rebate changes coming that could affect how much you save!

💰 WHEN DO THE REBATES REDUCE?

✅ Solar rebates reduce every year on 1 January.

✅ Federal battery rebates reduce every six months, on 1 January and 1 July.

📅 The next reduction for BOTH is 1 January 2027.

Both federal incentive programs are currently scheduled to continue until the end of 2030, but the available discounts reduce over time.

🔋 BIGGER BATTERIES NOW HAVE DIFFERENT REBATE LEVELS

Since 1 May 2026, the federal battery rebate has been calculated in tiers:

✅ First 14 kWh of usable battery capacity — 100% of the applicable rebate factor.

✅ From 14 kWh to 28 kWh — 60% of the applicable factor.

✅ From 28 kWh to 50 kWh — 15% of the applicable factor.

💡 IMPORTANT: IT'S YOUR INSTALLATION DATE THAT COUNTS!

Even if you accept your quote in December, if your system isn't installed until January, the new rebate calculation will apply.
