MEET LOUY 🤘

Lou, Lou Burner, my guyyy 🤙

Known around site for his craftsmanship and being seriously handy on the tools 🔨

Louy and Mattie go way back — they’ve known each other since they were 12, growing up surfing around Forster and getting out four-wheel driving whenever they could in LandCruisers some probably should’ve kept.

A few years back, Louy made the move down to Newy for a stint of work… and eventually found his way onto the TeakBuilt crew.

When he’s not on the tools, there’s a fair chance he’s surfing, travelling somewhere for the hundredth time, or shaping his own surfboards. And when he actually stays home, you’ll usually find him having a few beers with the boys or trying to keep his chickens out of trouble 🍻🐓

Good mate, quality craftsman, and a bloody good addition to the TeakBuilt crew.

Building from the ground up 🔨

A major milestone reached at our Garden Suburb renovation and extension.

After weeks of Rain, excavation, structural steel, blockwork, drainage, waterproofing and preparation, the first slab is officially down.

Digging under the existing house was loads of fun 😅

A huge effort from our team and all of the trades involved to make it happen. Every stage lays the foundation for what’s to come, and we’re excited to see this project continue taking shape.

Thanks to everyone involved so far. Stay tuned! there’s plenty more to come. 👊

Progress at young street 🔨

A solid day on the tools with the team fitting custom jambs, hanging doors, installing hardware and ticking off the finer details that bring a renovation to life.

The best part of any project is seeing all the individual trades and pieces come together into a finished space. Plenty of timber, plenty of sawdust and plenty of teamwork in this one.

Big thanks to everyone involved so far — we’re looking forward to sharing the finished result.
