Joe decided pretty early on what kind of builder he wanted to be, when he was an apprentice.
Long before Sage & Stone.
Before project managers.
Before custom homes.
Before social media.
The standard wasn’t really about producing perfect work. Construction doesn’t work like that.
Things get missed.
Mistakes happen.
Materials arrive damaged.
Details sometimes need to be redone.
What mattered then, and still matters now, is what happens when they do.
A few things we don’t do:
✖️ cover things up
✖️ leave problems for someone else to deal with
✖️ push through something that isn’t right just to stay on programme
The schedule works around the standard. Not the other way around.
Projects like Lexington Parade don’t happen because of one person. This home was delivered with the help of 46 subcontractors and suppliers, all contributing their piece to the finished result.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone involved and proud of what was achieved together.
