A property in Kareela, NSW required a full underground consumer mains installation and new switchboard as part of a 200A three-phase supply upgrade. The existing infrastructure needed replacing, with cabling running under an asphalt driveway presenting significant access challenges.

HOW WE HELPED:
- Ran 25mm XLPE 50m per phase using existing conduit under the driveway, then 80mm and 50mm conduit to reach the new MSB location
- Installed new switchboard at 2m above finished floor level
- Ran cable up the private pole and strung 3-phase overhead service
- Backfilled, installed warning cover and hard cover; tested, connected and commissioned โ€” ready for meter changeover

RESULTS:

A cafรฉ operator in The Rocks, NSW had a non-functioning screen and lighting system aboard their Airstream cafรฉ trailer. Both were connected to a 12V circuit with the switch tripping, leaving the business unable to trade.

HOW WE HELPED:
- Investigated and identified a faulty 1200W transformer shorting and causing the RCBO to trip
- Utilised a spare transformer to restore power to lights and the water pump immediately
- Isolated and repaired broken cables on the sign light, connecting and protecting with heatshrink
- Tested all lighting circuits โ€” all operational on departure

RESULTS:
