A new 5m wide x 2.4m high Cantilever Sliding gate for our client at Perth Airport’s high security Quarantine area.
Designed, Built & Installed.
These ‘Cantilever’ sliding gates require no track for the gate to roll on.
They rely on a Mass Concrete Footing, special above ground roller wheel carriages and a gate track welded to the underside of the sliding gate in order to not require any roller wheels.
2400kg of concrete is required to act as counterbalance.
This gate is a manually operated gate, but can easily be converted to an automated gate.
Cantilever gates are an ideal alternative where one might not be able to install a concrete footing for the roller track, or where heavy vehicles might damage the track. NO TRACK REQUIRED for this style gate.
