Summers Carpentry & Maintenance is looking for a Carpenter or highly skilled labourer to join our team for ongoing work in Nebo and surrounding areas.

We’ve got some big projects coming up, so we’re looking to bring the right person on board within the next month or so.

✅ Type of work includes:
• Renovations
• Rural work
• Sheds
• General maintenance
• Fencing
• Decks
• Extensions

✅ What we’re looking for:
• White Card (required)
• Experience in the industry
• Reliable and takes pride in their work
• Willing to work big days when needed
• Able to work alone / unsupervised
• Must have your own accommodation (however I may be able to assist with accommodation for the right person)
• Good attitude and strong work ethic

💰 Pay:
Good money paid for the right person (based on experience and ability).

Good morning everyone,

As 2025 draws to an end, I hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish you a very happy New Year.

I’ve been fairly quiet on this page over the past year due to a few personal matters, and I’d like to apologise to anyone I may have let down during that time. My head hasn’t been fully in the game, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support over the past year.

Heading into 2026, we’re coming back bigger and better than ever. I’ll also be much more active on this page over the coming year, keeping everyone updated and responding as promptly as I can. If you have any carpentry work that needs doing, please feel free to reach out.

For anyone still waiting on quotes, these will be rolled out in the New Year. I’ve taken a well-needed short break over the Christmas period and will be back into it shortly.

Thank you again to everyone for the support over the past year — it genuinely means a lot. I’m looking forward to a big year ahead. 😊

Sorry we have been quiet, we have been extremely busy over the past few months.

Summers Carpentry & Maintenance is happy to announce we have another qualified Carpenter coming on board from the end of October.

Another kitchen completed by Summers Carpentry & Maintenance. Quite an old kitchen was due for an upgrade. After talking with the customer and what they wanted I was able to draw up and plan the layout for the new flatpack kitchen. This one turned out really nice!

This project was a challenge but the end result was very rewarding. We removed the old deck of the front of this house and built a new 10x9m deck with a fly over roof. The deck is built with all hardwood locally sourced bearers and joists. 150x150 hardwood posts are holding up the insulated panelling roof. Over a kilometre of Merbau 140x19 decking was used for the floor and sides of this deck. The deck is finished off with stainless steel wire and hardwood handrails.

One very happy customer with this job and one very big deck for parties! 😂

A Bathroom renovation we also completed earlier last year. Tiled the room floor to ceiling, tiled a raised walk in shower floor with a frameless dark tinted shower screen. Floating vanity installed with a lovely round mirror. This bathroom turned out really nice and the customers were very happy 😊
