VIGOROUS WINDS OVER SOUTHEAST NEW SOUTH WALES.

For the Sydney Metropolitan, DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 60 to 70 km/h, with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h, are possible during Saturday

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
* Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
* Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
* Report fallen power lines to Ausgrid (131 388)
* For emergency help in floods and storms, call the NSW SES on 132 500

Busted hot water tank, flooded over timber floor boards. These floor boards were showing signs of cupping (sides of the boards are higher than the centre).

To speed up evaporation we have fed warm dry air underneath the tent. Once we have reached our dry standard the cupping will be gone and the boards back to normal.
